This is a fast-changing situation and we here at Crystal Vacation Rentals are working hard to continually stay current and reevaluate our guest policies as needed. As we face the challenge presented by the coronavirus (COVID-19), we are taking precautionary steps to ensure a healthy experience for all. Below, you will find updates to our cancellation policy made with an understanding of how recent announcements are likely to affect our guests with planned vacations in the near future. Please keep in mind that these policies are likely to change as things progress.   • As of April 24, we are moving or canceling reservations arriving through June 12. 
  • As of April 24, we are not accepting reservations for check-in before May 12.
  • Our housekeeping partners have always used cleaning products that disinfect, however, in addition to the normal cleaning procedures, they will increase their focus on “high touch” areas, such as remote controls, doorknobs, light switches, etc.
  • Our employees and housekeeping partners are receiving ongoing education on best health practices according to public health agencies. This includes requiring our employees to work from home to encourage ‘Stay at Home’ and ‘Social Distancing’ practices.


New Reservations

We will not be accepting new reservations that would check-in on or before June 12.

Existing Reservations

Arrivals before June 12: Reservations are being moved or cancelled with a full refund, less trip insurance premiums paid, or the option to use your current payments toward a future reservation (see terms below).
Arrivals Outside of Stay at Home Order Due to COVID-19: We are not currently changing our cancellation policies for reservations not directly affected by COVID-19, but will be revisiting this decision as the situation progresses.

Special Terms for Cancellations Using Payments Toward a Future Reservation: Payments made for reservations arriving within 45 days can be credited toward a future reservation with an arrival date of up to one (1) year after the original reservation. These credits will be held for one (1) year after the original cancellation date, after which time the credit will be forfeited. All rescheduled reservations are considered non-refundable, without exceptions. Credits need not be used at the originally scheduled vacation home, but can be applied toward a reservation at any Crystal Vacation Rentals home. After dates are rescheduled no further dates changes may be made.
Please keep in mind that if you cancel your reservation and someone else books your time, they will get the first option for those weeks the following year.
