Located in Historic Downtown Manistee, the Manistee County Historical Museum is housed inside the Lyman Building at 425 River Street. Bridging the gap between Manistee County`s past and present, the Museum serves to preserve, interpret, and educate the public about the history of Manistee County.

Arcadia Area Museum

Kaleva Bottle House & Historical Museum

This historic home was built in1941 with over 60,000 glass soft drink bottles. The Bottle House includes more than soft drink memorabilia; it houses an impressive turn-of-the century collection of historic Kaleva artifacts, furniture and the famous Makinen Antique Lure collection. It is on the National Register and is a must-see for anyone looking for a unique historical experience.

SS City of Milwaukee

SS City of Milwaukee

The last of six sister ships designed in the 1920`s and built by the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company in Wisconsin. Its service routes took it across Lake Michigan year round through treacherous ice and storms. You may even stay overnight aboard this ship today, and is a must see sight for anyone interested in nautical history.
